Their wedding session at the Biltmore Estate was inspired by Pride and Prejudice. There was a quiet elegance to everything and a sense of romance that felt timeless rather than styled.
Her dress reflected that beautifully. It had a classic, almost period-inspired feel, but still felt natural and entirely her. Nothing about it felt like a costume. It simply added to the atmosphere they were already creating.
From the beginning, they knew they didn’t want to spend a large portion of their wedding day taking portraits. They wanted to be present with their families, their friends, and the experience itself. Instead of trying to fit everything into one day, we planned an entire evening dedicated to portraits. There was no timeline and no pressure to move quickly. They had the space to slow down, be together, and have some quiet moments alone before the beautiful chaos of the wedding weekend.
As the evening came to a close, we were met with a beautiful, slow sunset. The light softened the landscape, the movement, and the mood.
