Martha and I met at Syracuse University in the Photojournalism program many years ago. We’ve stayed in touch, and I’ve been fortunate to see her twice this year. I was beyond honored when she texted and asked me to be HER wedding photographer. Martha + Jesse drove down from upstate New York just for their engagement photos. We had the best time showing them a small glimpse of Charlotte and exploring Rough Ridge, one of my favorite places in Boone. These two don’t take a bad photo. I really think it’s because they’re so darn happy together.
