Meagan’s dad told guests during his toast that Meagan had been planning her wedding since she was a little girl. She had always had her heart set on Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC, a place where their family likes to vacation.
The forecast looked treacherous a week out, but thankfully the rain passed through the mountains and left the most stunning spring weather day. Meagan and Kevin exchanged vows privately on the bridge overlooking the pond before they walked down the aisle. They surprised guests with a bagpiper for Meagan’s walk as a nod to their family’s Scottish heritage.
The Farm at Old Edwards Inn was transformed into “Poison Ivy’s lair.” Greenery was abundant with leafy plants decorating the entire space. After an incredible meal, 12 South Band from Nashville lured guests to the dance floor and kept it full the entire evening.
